The movies been out for a while. Weeks old, even.
Ah, didn't know that. With the links being at the top of the news page and all, I figured they were new. Thanks.

*stunned*

well that looks amazing, the boss seems like it is in the background, but you never know if you'll be able to attack it (might have a growing bridge like the vine seeds)

it better give golds all the time, or i wont bother ^^ j/k

The first one is new, the second one is old.

I wish they would show more of Grenths Footprint, we just keep seeing Sorrows Furnace, which just seems to be underground Shiverpeaks with 100 times more ladders and crossings and lava.

Grenths Footprint looks like it will be like the catacombs from Pre-searing. Which is cool. I loved those. Just wish they'd show us a bit more on that.

There will be new areas, new quests, new enemies and new items in the summer update. That is the only thing confirmed, thus that is the only thing I will believe.

Wow some of you guys are so harsh. Why? I see complaints before new content, and I see complaints after new content. Maybe some of you guys should make your own game

Gaile once said the update will have lots of quests (yay ) and a lot of them are more compelx and are actually like missions rather than quests! I am personally extremely excited, and I am hoping we get some more new information like some examples of the quests and such

One thing is scaring me though. In that video I saw one new type of monster (and a boss). I just hope we get more new creatures than that (I am sure that video has just scimmed the surface of Sorrows Furance)

In all honesty, I think this update is a preview of the expansion content coming out next year. The graphics in the video are HIGHLY updated compared to some of the older parts of the game, and I am sure the level design will be fantastic, and we will see some good drops and cool quests :P Which we will probably see in the expansion.

Just give them some more time before people jump to conlusions about it being bad. And one of the alpha testers hinted to the fact that it is awesome

There are other threads for you to vent. Please use those instead; what you are saying is not adding to the discussion of the topic. It's not fair to bash something that isn't even out yet.

------------------

Will the update include stuff like the auction house, the system for looking for parties, etc?

Maybe they want to keep people in the long run (putting out updates as the game gets older) instead of wearing it out in the beginning and having the updates die off after a couple of months.

Possibly, but I highly doubt that is going to be in this update.

It's what my sainted mother calls "Damned if you do and damned if you don't." There is just no human way to please everyone and they're going to make sure we know it.

I'm excited and can't wait. For the rest? If nothing else, it will give all the complainers something NEW to crab about.
